Carlos Morales is a Puerto Rican engineer and product builder creating practical tools across software, AI, business systems, rhythm education, and digital products.
He combines engineering discipline with direct experimentation: identify a problem, build a working system, test it, improve it, and release the strongest ideas. That loop — not a mission statement — is what Morales Labs actually is.
The products come from watching real people work. Home bakers pricing cakes from guesswork became WhiskLedger. Contractors quoting jobs from a truck became TalkEstimate. Dancers counting beats they couldn't hear became SalsaCoach. None of it started as "an app idea" — it started as a problem someone was living with.
What the studio believes
- Real problems beat clever ideas. If nobody's work gets easier, it doesn't ship.
- Systems beat files. Parts that connect are worth more than a folder of templates.
- Honesty is a feature. Every product carries its true status and its documented limits.
- Rhythm matters. Good tools have cadence — you can feel when work flows.
Where things are headed
WhiskLedger and XPIRL are available on Etsy and Gumroad. SitterStack is in final release review. TalkEstimate is awaiting contractor pilot testing, SalsaCoach is in private beta, and the AI products are validation prototypes awaiting real-user feedback. The plan is simple: keep finding real problems, keep engineering useful systems, and let the strongest ideas earn their release.
